Asterias is a true classic. These days ship designs look like ships, not as the plastic-bins of our days. That’s why Asterias is very seaworthy. And the design is correspondingly generous. There is no other sailing yacht for charter with such a large owner cabin in the aft. The armchairs in the salon also underline the claim to comfort and generosity. There is also enough space on deck, as there are not many passengers regarding the output of the boat length. There is no air conditioning, but the winds, redirected with the wind spoons, cool the cabins during the night. There is a bimini on deck and one of the numerous wants is always in the right place to attach a sun sail.

With the ketch rig, the sailing can always be optimally adapted to the wind conditions and the 2023, overhauled engine, ensures reliable propulsion.

At anchor, a dinghy with outboard engine connects you to the shore and a SUP ensures fun. Docked in a port, 5 bicycles guarantee mobility and the possibility to discover the country behind the coasts – and they have also proven to be very practical for grocery shopping.

Asteria is based in Benitses, near Korfu Airport, from where the wonderful Ionian Sea can be ideally explored. The diversity of the landscape, beginning from the Othonic Islands in rather shallow seas, surrounded by the Albanian mountains and the Pantokrator. Where the breathtakingly beautiful coasts of Albania in the east and Corfus in the west almost touch, the northern strait of Corfu leads to the Kerkiraiki Thalasa, the Gulf of Corfu. There is also a lot to discover here, such as Aleko's fish restaurant in Sagiada or the UNESCO World Heritage, the old town of Corfu. The Syvota island with their fine white sand closes the golf in the south. From here the sea opens south and east again. Paxos and antipaxos are in the middle of it, with their rugged west and lovely east coast with picturesque villages. Further in the south, through the Canal of Preveza you can reach the Amvrakian Golf. Here we already sighted dolphins, flamingos and turtles - and only a few other boats. Finally, through the channel of Lefkas it goes further south, where the small island of Meganisi welcomes you with its lovely deeply cut bays.
