There are several events this year where you can do this, all around the world. Specifically, there are four in Europe that are not only prestigious, but offer spectacles, fairs, and much more!
The Croatian Boat Show (CBS) takes place in Split, April 26-30th. It will be a spectacular event with hundreds of boats crowding the beautiful Croatian coastline. Of course, BoatBooKing’s vessels will be among them, so you can check out our great selection and meet us in person!
Besides all the commotion at sea, there will be plenty to admire on land as well. The local and international nautical community will assemble to talk shop and have some fun at the fair. The Mediterranean Yacht Show will take place in Nafplion, April 1st - May 4th. It will be entirely focused on majestic yachts, all of which you can view and tour at the exhibition. Also, there will be chef competitions every day of the event, so great meals are guaranteed! The Cannes port in the heart of the city awaits you at the sun-drenched coast of the Côte d’Azur for the Cannes Yachting Festival, September 6-11th. The event hosts an eclectic offer of boats from 3 to 50 meters on-water and less than 10 meters ashore, that are sailing or motor, monohull or multihull, rigid or semi-rigid hull. Did we save the best for last? Well, it depends on your preferences, but the Barcolana in Trieste is truly a jaw dropping event! Held October 9th, it is probably the most popular sailing regatta in the world, with over 1,500 boats leaving at the same time. The race takes place over a distance of about 15 miles to the fixed markers, starting at the Miramare Castle and the finish line located in the sea area in front of Piazza Unità of Italy.
