For all charter agreements operated by us, you will be required to provide coverage against accidental damage or loss of vessel and ancillary equipment. The insurance of all our boats guarantees such cover, by activating and paying the deductible (franchise), for accidental damage, in the event the damage exceeds this amount. In addition, you will need to provide a Yacht Damage Liability warranty (safe deposit), which covers minor damage (or loss) to the boat and its equipment*. This guarantee is made by paying a security deposit prior to the boarding date (deposit), witch value depends on the size of the vessel you chose. This amount is returned at the end of the charter whose boat has been returned under the same conditions as received. Accordingly, you should either choose to contract Security Deposit Reduction in advance or pay a much larger Security Deposit, as detailed below. In case of choosing to by the Security Deposit Reduction, you will get coverage for all the damages that costs less than the insurance deductible (franchise) and more than the Security Deposit you made on boarding. The value of the security deposit, once you hire the Security Deposit Reduction, is as follows: Boat size up to 35 feet – EUR 550.00 (Bareboat) or EUR 270.00 (skippered charter) Boat size from 35 to 44 feet – EUR 750.00 (Bareboat) or EUR 380.00 (skippered charter) More than 44 feet and catamarans – EUR 1300.00 (Bareboat) or EUR 640.00 (skippered charter) * Outboard engine, SUP and dinghy and its oars are not part of the equipments under any insurance cover. ** In cases where accidental damages are very serious and reach or exceed the value of the insurance deductible, you will be responsible for the full payment of the deductible.
